Praise Academy is a member school of GEORGIA STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP ORGANIZATION (GaSSO), ARETE SCHOLARS and PAY IT FORWARD Scholarship programs. Therefore, families that need tuition assistance should contact these organizations to apply for scholarships. Funds are on a need basis. Families are individually qualified by each organization. Praise Academy is not involved in the qualifying process. However, since we are a member school, families may use scholarship funds awarded toward tuition and other fees to attend Praise Academy.
Georgia Student Scholarship Organization, Inc. is one of the oldest and largest non-profit corporations approved by the State of Georgia to accept and manage tax-credit donations that give Georgia children access to the educational choices they deserve and need.
Since opening for business in 2008, we have processed tax-credit donations that have funded more than 10,000 scholarships for Georgia children attending more than 150 private preK-12 schools all across our state. There are probably many reasons why so many donors and schools like to work with GaSSO, but we think it boils down to one basic factor: Superior Service.
Arete Scholars exists to help economically disadvantaged children reach their highest potential through educational opportunity. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete awards need-based K-12 scholarships and empowers parents to place their children in schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.
Arete currently operates in Georgia under the state's Tuition Tax Credit Scholarship Program and in Louisiana under the Tuition Donation Rebate Program. Scholarship eligibility is based on the income guidelines for the federal free and reduced lunch program (FRL), and award amounts range from $2,500 to $5,000 per year. Recipients are required to requalify each year.
Pay it Forward Scholarships provides scholarships for private pre-K through 12thgrade students to attend any accredited private school in Georgia. Our mission is to give parents the freedom to choose the best educational environment for their child. Scholarships are on a need basis … see our website for details.
