"Today the 4th grade students made kindness rocks. We learned that our actions cause ripples in the lives of others just like a rock makes ripples when dropped in water. We discussed ways to makes good ripples for others and also painted these rocks as a reminder that kindness matters."

Kicked off the year with our first Chapel service of 2023-2024! Feels great to be together again worshiping our Lord.

"We had a great first day together! This morning during our Bible lesson we talked about pencils and God. You may ask how those go together-well just like a pencil isn’t really worth using without a point and has to have a point, God is the whole point of our lives and helps us with everything in life. We did have some fun trying to balance a pencil on our noses and see who could do it the longest. 😉
Also, thank you to some sweet parents for first day goodies and all the supplies and things for our class! We are so grateful! ❤️"

As the new school year begins on Tuesday, please pray for all of Praise Academy; from the littlest Lion Cubs, all the way up to the founders of Praise Academy;Pastor Tommy and Mrs. Joyce.
Our theme verse for the year
is Psalm 16:8,
"I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved."
The main idea of being "Unshakeable" is what we pray will drive all of PCA to total, unapologetic, reliance and trust in Almighty God.
Our faith needs to be as big as God Himself is. If our trust in Him is little, than little things will shake us to our very core.
Lord Jesus... grow our faith and trust in You, so we won't be shaken.

Our High school Twisted Axles Robotics Team has positions open for grades 9-12.
You are invited to come by during Open House from 1-2 pm and check it out!
We are in the Loft space at the back of the sanctuary.
We will have Robotics team members available to answer questions and demonstrate the robot from the last season.
Our Robotics program allows STUDENTS to:
Design, build, and program robots.
Model a real-world engineering process.
Develop strategic problem-solving, organizational, and team-building skills.
Learn Marketing video and digital content creation.
Participate in regional tournaments and qualify for the World Championship.
Compete and cooperate in alliances at tournaments.
Access career discovery opportunities, networking, and the FIRST Scholarship Program, with $80 million made available by ~ 200 providers.
Our Robotics team competes against private and public schools throughout the region and state through the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology ).
8th Grade Students will be considered (if space available) with a recommendation from a teacher or staff member of Praise Academy.
We also need members who are interested in content creation for social media!
