Parents Reni & Cheri Rivera have been married 31 years, originally from northern Indiana, but have lived in Georgia 28 years, raising 2 now adult children before Cadence came along. Cheri is an aspiring writer & plays bass guitar; Reni is a drummer & also employed at Warner Bros Discovery. The Lord called him home in December 2020 after his battle with cancer. Head of School, Praise Academy Learning with Excellence, Loving Christ Above All, Living to Impact the World for Christ Luke 2:52 "Hello, I’m Stacie Barrow and I look forward to being part of Praise staff, as the Development Director, where I get to tell the story of Praise to foster engagement and investment to advance the school.  I look forward to serving in this role to provide the necessary resources and funding to carry out the mission of equipping students, spiritually, educationally and to love God first.  For the past 10 years, I have had the honor to stay at home and homeschool our children, however, I’m excited to enter back into the workforce and apply my past fundraising knowledge and skills at Praise.  My husband, James and I are both native to Cobb County and have been married for 24+ years and have two daughters.  We worship and serve at McEachern UMC in Powder Springs where we’ve been members for over 12 years.  We were introduced to Praise when our eldest daughter played on the Lady Lions Varsity basketball  and then her and her sister both played on the  soccer teams this past season.  When not on a field, we are usually enjoying a hike or playing in the water of some capacity.  Romans 12:12-13  “be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. I'm an alumni of Praise Academy and have been a teacher's aid for multiple years. This is my first year teaching K3 here, but I feel like I've been teaching most of my life. Both of my parents and siblings have been teachers at other schools as well. I guess you could say it's always been in my blood to teach. I met my sweet husband, Andrew, on the school football field about 9yrs ago. We've been married for almost 8yrs. We have two dogs and two ducks. And hope to have kids one day as well. Jesus has really grown my faith within these last few years. I'm so grateful for his kindness towards me and my family. I'm reminded of this scripture found in Ephesians 3:17-19... " I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may have power together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." I am excited to be joining the Praise Academy family this fall. I am 25 years old and am married to my wonderful husband Scott Trout. We have been married for over 2 years now and are currently expecting our first child in October. This past year have been traveling with a ministry called Life Action. Now that we are expecting and feeling led by the Lord to come home, we are super excited about getting plugged back in with the community. Praise Academy is where I graduated from High School and where I also held a position as a Teacher’s Aid for 2 years. I have also worked in the public school education system as a paraprofessional. I have received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and have dedicated my life to teaching young children.
